Flotsam and Jetsam Return to Spain with Rats In The Temple
American thrash metal veterans Flotsam and Jetsam are returning to Spain this November to present their new album, Rats In The Temple. The Arizona band will play six shows across the country, bringing together material from their latest release and songs that have helped shape the history of American thrash metal.
Over more than four decades, Flotsam and Jetsam have established a distinctive sound built on speed, razor-sharp riffs, intricate guitar work and a strong melodic sensibility. Their early releases, including Doomsday For The Deceiver (1986) and No Place For Disgrace (1988), remain defining records in the band’s catalogue. In recent years, the group has continued to evolve through albums such as The End Of Chaos (2019), Blood In The Water (2021) and I Am The Weapon (2024).
Released on August 28, 2026, through Napalm Records, Rats In The Temple marks Flotsam and Jetsam’s debut release for the label. The album features thirteen new tracks exploring themes of war, betrayal, abuse and death. Musically, it retains the elements that have long defined the band: sharp guitar work, driving riffs, speed and melody.
The Spanish leg of the tour will visit six cities. Flotsam and Jetsam will perform in Mos, Avilés, Vitoria, Barcelona, Valencia and Madrid:
November 20, 2026 — Sala Rebullón, Mos.
November 21, 2026 — Stage Four, Avilés.
November 22, 2026 — Urban Rock Concept, Vitoria.
November 23, 2026 — Sala La Nau, Barcelona.
November 24, 2026 — Sala Rock City, Valencia.
November 25, 2026 — Sala Revi Live, Madrid.
The upcoming shows will offer audiences the chance to hear Rats In The Temple live while revisiting key songs from the Flotsam and Jetsam catalogue. The Spanish tour brings the band’s latest chapter to the stage while continuing a career firmly rooted in the American thrash metal tradition.
