Accept Celebrate Five Decades of Heavy Metal with Half a Century of Metal

German heavy metal pioneers Accept are returning to Spain with Half a Century of Metal, a special tour celebrating the band’s 50th anniversary. Marking five decades of musical history, the tour honours a group whose distinctive sound and influential catalogue have helped shape the international heavy metal scene.

The Spanish leg of the tour includes two performances:

27 November 2026 — Valencia, Auditorio Roig Arena.

28 November 2026 — Madrid, La Cubierta de Leganés.

Both shows will feature Swedish bands Dynazty and Enforcer as special guests. Known for their melodic heavy metal, Dynazty bring a different dimension to the bill, while Enforcer draw on the traditions of classic heavy and speed metal. Together, the three bands represent distinct strands of the European metal scene.

Over five decades, Accept have established a recognisable musical identity built around powerful guitar riffs, memorable melodies and a distinctive approach to heavy metal. Their influence extends across generations of musicians and fans, and their catalogue remains an important part of the genre’s history.

The anniversary programme brings together different chapters of the band’s career. Alongside the songs that established Accept’s reputation, the tour will feature material from Humanoid, the band’s 2024 studio album produced by Andy Sneap. The record combines Accept’s characteristic guitar-driven sound with a contemporary production, demonstrating the group’s continued engagement with its musical roots.

Among Accept’s best-known songs are Balls to the Wall, Metal Heart and Fast as a Shark. These tracks have become enduring reference points in the band’s catalogue and in the wider history of heavy metal. The anniversary tour celebrates that legacy while also acknowledging the group’s more recent work.

Half a Century of Metal offers a retrospective journey through Accept’s career, connecting the songs that established their place in the genre with material from a later chapter of their musical evolution. Rather than focusing solely on nostalgia, the tour reflects the band’s lasting presence in heavy metal and the continued relevance of its sound.

Valencia and Madrid will host the two Spanish dates of the anniversary tour. Both concerts will bring Accept together with Dynazty and Enforcer for an evening dedicated to five decades of heavy metal and the enduring legacy of one of Germany’s most influential metal bands.
