Europe Announce New Album “Come This Madness” and Release Lead Single “One On One”
Swedish hard rock veterans Europe have announced “Come This Madness”, their twelfth studio album and their first release in nine years. The record is set to arrive on September 25, 2026 via Silver Lining Music / Hell & Back Recordings. Alongside the announcement, the band has released the lead single “One On One”, accompanied by a music video starring actor Peter Stormare (Fargo, The Big Lebowski) and directed by Patric Ullaeus.
The album was recorded at RMV Studio in Stockholm, the facility founded by Benny Andersson and Ludvig Andersson. Production was handled by Tom Dalgety, whose credits include Ghost, Rammstein, Pixies, and Opeth, while mixing duties went to Mike Fraser (AC/DC, Metallica, Van Halen). The record features guest appearances from Tobias Forge (Ghost) and Mikael Åkerfeldt (Opeth), and the artwork was created by Storm Studios, the design house behind cover art for Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and Muse.
To support the release, the band will embark on “The Final Countdown 40th Anniversary Tour”, marking four decades since their breakthrough album. Three Spanish shows are confirmed: October 8 in Barcelona (Poble Espanyol), October 9 in Bilbao (Arena Mirabilla), and October 10 in Madrid (La Cubierta).
