The book Bon Jovi: Forever wins Best Book Finishing at the British Book Design & Production Awards
The limited edition Bon Jovi: Forever, dedicated to the history of Bon Jovi, has received the British Book Design & Production Awards in the “Best Book Finishing” category.
The project was published by the UK-based Genesis Publications, known for producing collectible limited-edition books created in collaboration with major figures in music. Founded in 1974, the company is recognized for its craftsmanship and attention to detail.
The book was developed in close collaboration with the band to reflect its visual identity and aesthetic through both design and materials. According to the publisher, particular attention was given to the structure, textures, and overall presentation of the edition.
The release features complex design elements, combining materials that evoke fabric and leather, and is presented in a specially designed case. The edition also includes additional collectible items connected to the band’s history.
The print run is limited to 1,500 copies, including a number of deluxe editions. Following its release in summer 2025, it became the fastest-selling title in the publisher’s history.
The award recognizes books in which finishing techniques enhance not only the design but also the overall experience, through the use of materials, textures, and production methods. The jury highlighted the project’s high level of execution and its ability to reflect the identity of the band.
Bon Jovi: Forever offers an in-depth look at more than 40 years of the group’s history. It includes rare archival materials such as handwritten lyrics, stage outfits, instruments, and photographs. The book also features interviews with Jon Bon Jovi, sharing insights into songwriting, album production, and key moments in the band’s career.
