TESTAMENT release official mini-documentary on the start of the “Thrash Of The Titans” tour

Testament have released an official mini-documentary focused on the U.S. leg of their 2026 world tour Thrash Of The Titans.

The tour kicked off in spring 2026 and brought together key names from the thrash metal scene, including Overkill and Destruction. The run began on March 14 in Portland and concluded on April 10 in Berkeley, with Testament headlining all shows.

The band is continuing a busy period following the release of their 2025 album Para Bellum, issued via Nuclear Blast. The album was produced with Juan Urteaga, mixed for the first time by Jens Bogren, and features artwork by Eliran Kantor.

The release was preceded by the single Infanticide AI, accompanied by an official video directed by Joey Durango.

A notable change in the lineup is drummer Chris Dovas, who joined the band in 2023. His contribution has influenced the band’s writing process and added new energy while maintaining Testament’s signature sound.

Before becoming a full-time member, Dovas temporarily filled in for Dave Lombardo, formerly of Slayer, during part of the 2022 The Bay Strikes Back Tour.

The band is also preparing a remastered reissue of their 1989 album Practice What You Preach, scheduled for release in May 2026. The updated version was remastered at Sterling Sound and will be released digitally and on a limited-edition vinyl pressing. The edition includes new materials, an expanded booklet, and updated artwork by original designer Bill Benson.

Practice What You Preach was a milestone release for the band, entering the Billboard 200 and coming close to gold certification in the United States.
