DOGSTAR Featuring Keanu Reeves Release New Track “Joy” and Announce All In Now Album
Dogstar, featuring Keanu Reeves, have released a new single, Joy, from their upcoming album All In Now. The record is scheduled for release on May 29, 2026, via the band’s own label, Dillon Street Records.
The album was produced by Nick Launay, known for his work with artists such as IDLES, Amyl and the Sniffers, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. It follows the band’s comeback album Somewhere Between The Power Lines And Palm Trees, released in 2023, their first in over two decades.
Dogstar consists of guitarist and vocalist Bret Domrose, drummer Rob Mailhouse, and bassist Keanu Reeves. The official music video for Joy was directed by Carlos Garcia Medina.
According to Domrose, the track began with an atmospheric, reverb-heavy guitar part. He noted that a vintage Gibson ES-335 guitar allowed the band to explore new sounds and helped shape the direction of the song.
The band previously released the title track All In Now. The members say the new album captures the energy of playing together and the enjoyment of the process. Rob Mailhouse described it as particularly suited for live performance, while Reeves emphasized the band’s desire to return to the studio as soon as possible.
Dogstar have also announced a North American tour in support of the album, starting on May 28 and covering 25 cities, including Austin, Nashville, New York, and Washington.
Since reuniting in 2023, the trio has been actively touring, performing both in clubs and at major festivals. The band noted that their European shows have been especially meaningful due to the response from new audiences.
In addition to their North American dates, Dogstar will perform in Europe: the band will play a show in Barcelona on July 7 and appear at the Mad Cool Festival in Madrid on July 8.
The band also highlighted Nick Launay’s contribution to shaping the album’s sound, noting that his work helped balance live energy with studio production.
All In Now reflects Dogstar’s commitment to fully investing themselves in their music, both on stage and in the studio.
