Split Watches to Release Limited-Edition Ozzy Osbourne Tribute Watch with 100% of Proceeds Going to MusiCares

London-based company Split Watches has announced the release of a limited-edition timepiece dedicated to Ozzy Osbourne. The model, titled The Ozzy, will go on sale on May 14 and will be available exclusively through the brand’s official website. The run is limited to 50 pieces, with each priced at $2,960. All proceeds from sales will be donated to the charity MusiCares.

The project has been developed with the support of Sharon Osbourne. In a statement, she noted that the watch reflects Ozzy’s attitude toward time, which he described as “the most valuable thing in the world, ” and emphasized the importance of supporting MusiCares, an organization the Osbourne family has backed for many years.

The Ozzy is based on the Split MC collection and features an automatic chronograph from the Seiko family. The design is intentionally understated and “unpolished.” Notable details include Ozzy’s signature purple glasses on the subdials and a cross at the 12 o’clock position. Each piece is hand-painted, and Ozzy’s logo appears on the rotor, visible through the transparent case back.

Split Watches co-founder Ed Margulies said the design was inspired by Ozzy Osbourne’s personality, highlighting his authenticity and rejection of artificiality. Co-founder Dara Amjadi added that the musician’s influence is deeply personal to him, dating back to his early exposure to Ozzy’s music.

The company also noted that Osbourne’s cultural impact extends beyond music. His appearance on The Osbournes introduced a broader audience to a more personal side of the artist.

MusiCares Executive Director Theresa Wolters stated that the organization greatly appreciates the initiative and the support from the Osbourne family and Split Watches. She emphasized that MusiCares provides critical assistance to music industry professionals, including health services, financial aid, and mental health support.

Split Watches was founded by Ed Margulies, a third-generation watchmaker who has worked with several Swiss manufacturers, and Dara Amjadi, a former musician. The brand focuses on creating concept-driven timepieces rooted in values of authenticity and self-expression.

MusiCares is a nonprofit organization founded by the Recording Academy in 1989. It provides preventive, emergency, and recovery programs aimed at supporting the health and well-being of music professionals.
