Céline Dion preparing new French single titled “Bonjour Pardon Merci”
Céline Dion appears to be preparing a new French-language song titled “Bonjour Pardon Merci”, after the track surfaced in the catalogue of SACEM, France’s society of authors, composers and music publishers. Dion is listed as the performer on the registration; the lyrics are credited to Ycare, who first gained recognition on the show Nouvelle Star, while the composition comes from Renaud Rebillaud, known for his work with Gims, Kendji Girac, Vitaa, Amel Bent and Louane. In a recent interview, Ycare confirmed he had written a song for Dion centered on gratitude — a theme the title itself seems to reflect.
“Bonjour Pardon Merci” would mark the second new, previously unreleased track tied to the singer’s musical comeback, following “Dansons”, written by Jean-Jacques Goldman and released April 17. No official release date has been announced yet for the new single.
The development comes at a pivotal moment for Dion, who, after several years away from the stage due to health issues, has confirmed a return to live performance with a Paris concert residency at Paris La Défense Arena (renamed Plenitude Arena), set for September and October 2026, followed by further dates in May 2027. Tickets for those shows sold out within hours, underscoring how strong public interest in the artist remains.
