Laura Muñoz releases “cristalino”, the first taste of her upcoming debut album
Spanish singer Laura Muñoz, known for her run on Operación Triunfo, has released her new single “cristalino”. Although technically her second track, it marks the true starting point of the musical identity she’ll develop on her debut album, serving as the project’s first preview. She previously released “Para Nadie Más”, a single tied to Operación Triunfo and Amazon, as released by the rest of her show cohort. The sonic shift between the two is clear: the new track leaves alternative pop behind for a sound shaped by urban pop.
“cristalino” was born from a moment of change — the feeling that, even as you keep seeing the world the same way, those around you start perceiving you differently. Produced by Pepe Bernabé at Odisey Ibiza, the song deals with growing up, taking charge of one’s own life, and learning to live with that transformation without losing the essence of who you are.
The accompanying music video was shot under the artistic direction of production company Cartílago. Muñoz is currently on the Operación Triunfo tour, which reaches Madrid on July 3; around those same dates she’ll give her first solo performance as part of Madrid’s Pride celebrations.
