Sleep Theory release studio version of their NSYNC “Bye Bye Bye” cover
Memphis, Tennessee hard rockers Sleep Theory have released the studio version of their cover of “Bye Bye Bye”, the 2000 pop classic from *NSYNC. The cover has long been a fan favorite and a staple of the band’s live sets, consistently getting crowds nodding and dancing. The studio recording keeps the sugary vocal harmonies of the original intact while layering in heavy guitar riffs, a sharp showcase of the band’s knack for turning something instantly familiar into something fresh.
Sleep Theory just played Download Festival and are continuing their run through Europe’s summer circuit: June 18 at Graspop Metal Meeting (Dessel), June 19 at Pinkpop (Landgraaf), June 22 at Razzmatazz 2 in Barcelona, followed by Vainstream Rockfest in Münster and Impericon Festival in Leipzig. A US tour follows in July.
The band arrives at the release on a hot streak: three No. 1s at rock radio, a “Best New Rock Artist” win at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, a sold-out European headline tour and two sold-out North American headline runs. Their debut album, “Afterglow”, came out in May 2025, produced by David Cowell and mixed by Zakk Cervini, known for his work with Bring Me The Horizon, Bad Omens and Architects. The band’s lineup consists of vocalist Cullen Moore, guitarist Daniel Pruitt, bassist Paolo Vergara and drummer Ben Pruitt.
