Deryck Whibley’s Clothing Brand Walking Disaster Unveils Third Collection
Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley has released the third capsule collection from his streetwear brand, Walking Disaster. The new lineup is now available through the brand’s official website.
The launch follows a successful appearance at Vans Warped Tour Long Beach, where fans were greeted by the brand’s mascot modeled after Whibley himself. The mascot posed for photos and handed out Walking Disaster passes, while Whibley made a surprise onstage appearance to perform “Fat Lip” alongside The Paradox.
The latest collection features ten new items, including two T-shirts, a tank top, a crewneck sweatshirt, a long-sleeve shirt, a bucket hat, a flag, and four new sock designs. According to the brand, the collection continues to blend punk-inspired aesthetics with everyday wear, emphasizing individuality and self-expression.
“With every new release, we learn, improve, and move the brand a little closer to what I always imagined Walking Disaster could be, ” Whibley said.
The musician revealed that the idea for the brand dates back to 2008. Although he registered the name at the time, his commitment to Sum 41 left little room to develop the project. After the band concluded its career, he decided it was finally the right moment to bring the concept to life.
Whibley says Walking Disaster has become a new creative outlet, allowing him to channel his ideas into clothing and accessories instead of music.
The brand debuted at Vans Warped Tour Orlando last November and has continued to expand its catalog with new apparel and accessories ever since.
