Sebastian Yatra and Marta Sanchez to headline concerts celebrating Hispanic Heritage Day 2026 in Madrid
The Community of Madrid has presented the preliminary programme for Hispanic Heritage Day 2026, which will take place from 3 to 12 October and will include more than 200 events at different locations across the region.
For the sixth time, the festival will feature a guest country, which in this edition will be the United States. The programme will include music, theatre, dance, folklore, cinema, gastronomy and exhibitions at venues such as Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, Puente del Rey, Plaza de Colon and Plaza de Espana.
The two main concerts of the festival will be free and will take place at Plaza de Espana. Sebastian Yatra will perform on Saturday, 10 October, while Marta Sanchez will take the stage on Sunday, 11 October.
Other artists confirmed for the rest of the programme include Arturo Sandoval, Aymee Nuviola, Cimafunk, Corral de la Moreria, La Chica, Lin Cortes, Los Kumbia Stars, Los Nikkis de la Pradera, Nat Simons and Tipo Tipo.
The programme will begin on Sunday, 4 October, with a major parade of Spanish culture along Madrid’s Gran Via. The festival will bring together representatives from more than 20 countries to celebrate Spanish culture on both sides of the Atlantic.
