Metal Hall of Fame launches official podcast: first episode featuring David Ellefson is now available
Metal Hall of Fame has launched its official podcast, Metal Hall Of Fame. The first episode of the program was released on July 21, 2026, on the organization’s official YouTube channel. The debut episode featured former MEGADETH bassist David Ellefson and Jimmy Kay, co-founder of The Metal Voice.
The podcast is hosted by entertainment personality Katie Rankin and Pat Gesualdo, founder and CEO of Metal Hall of Fame. The new project focuses on musicians’ stories, behind-the-scenes moments, and discussions about key topics related to hard rock and heavy metal.
In the first episode, the guests discussed the music industry, Ellefson’s career, and significant moments in Metal Hall of Fame history. The conversation also included the ceremony where Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, together with Pat Gesualdo, honored the late drummer Lee Kerslake, best known for his work on the albums “Blizzard Of Ozz” and “Diary Of A Madman.”
The creators of the podcast promise new interviews with legendary artists, behind-the-scenes stories from the rock scene, and discussions about the events shaping the future of modern heavy music.
