NEVERMORE return to Spain with a powerful new chapter on the live stage
NEVERMORE will return to European stages with the Liminal Spaces European Tour 2027, an extensive headline run across several cities on the continent. Spain will be part of the itinerary, with performances at Salamandra in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona, and at Wagon in Madrid. RIVERS OF NIHIL and URNE will join the tour as special guests, bringing together three bands with distinct approaches to contemporary metal.
NEVERMORE’s return to live activity has become a significant event for fans of progressive and extreme metal. Following their return to European stages in 2026, including festival appearances and shows alongside JUDAS PRIEST, the band continues to develop a new chapter in its history. Their recent performances have brought back songs that, for years, seemed destined to remain part of the group’s recorded legacy and the memories of its audience.
The upcoming European headline tour will give NEVERMORE another opportunity to connect with audiences across the continent. Their music, defined by intricate instrumental arrangements, expressive melodies and a distinctive heavy sound, has secured a lasting place in progressive metal. The forthcoming shows will continue that legacy while marking the band’s ongoing evolution.
NEVERMORE are also working on a highly anticipated new album. The Liminal Spaces European Tour 2027 could offer fans a first opportunity to hear some material from the upcoming release performed live. However, the band has not yet confirmed the setlist or whether new songs will feature during the Spanish dates.
The confirmed Spanish shows are:
May 20, 2027 — Salamandra, L’Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona).
May 21, 2027 — Wagon, Madrid.
With RIVERS OF NIHIL and URNE joining the bill, the tour brings together three distinctive voices within modern metal. The Spanish performances will form part of NEVERMORE’s European itinerary and continue the band’s return to the live stage, offering audiences the chance to experience this new chapter in the group’s history.
