El Muelle Live Adds Five New Acts and Welcomes Miguel Ríos for His Farewell Tour This Week
El Muelle Live, the open-air venue at the Port of Alicante, is cementing its place as one of the Costa Blanca’s leading music destinations with a week that delivers both performance and news: on May 29, Miguel Ríos arrives with his El Último Vals tour, and the announcement comes paired with five new additions to the 2026 programme — Fontaines D.C., Ruslana, ABBA The New Experience, Luli Pampin and Great Straits with “The great songs of dIRE sTRAITS”.
Miguel Ríos brings a show unlike most of what this stage has seen. El Último Vals is an electro-acoustic format — rock meeting country, four multi-instrumentalists on stage, an intimate atmosphere that leans into the emotional weight of a career spanning more than six decades. The tour launched in October 2025 and has already passed through Madrid, Barcelona, Málaga and A Coruña, visiting the most storied theatres in the country. Now it arrives on the Mediterranean coast. The tour’s guiding slogan — “Children of rock and roll, you have a date with history” — speaks directly to the bond between artist and audience that songs like Bienvenidos, Santa Lucía and Todo a pulmón have built across generations of Spanish music fans.
The new additions cover an impressive range of styles. Fontaines D.C. headline August 11 — the Dublin band whose sound moves between post-punk, indie rock and urban poetry has become one of the most influential acts on the international alternative scene. With four records — Dogrel, A Hero’s Death, Skinty Fia and Romance — behind them and a reputation for ferocious live shows, their appearance at El Muelle Live is one of the most anticipated concerts of the Alicante summer.
Ruslana arrives on November 6 to present her new Tour 2026. Following the impact of Catarsis and a string of sold-out debut shows, the artist continues to build a profile that mixes pop, rock and raw live energy into something with clear momentum behind it. One of the most talked-about emerging voices on the national scene, she brings her autumn tour to one of Spain’s most distinctive waterfront stages.
On August 21, ABBA Revolution Tour — The New Experience transforms El Muelle Live into a full theatrical event: live musicians, choreography, careful staging and the most beloved songs of the Swedish quartet — Dancing Queen, Mamma Mia, Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!, Waterloo — in a show built for all ages.
August 23 offers two very different events on the same day. Luli Pampin brings El Libro Musical, a family show alongside her Radio Mágica in which a library threatened by the mysterious character Polvoso becomes the setting for songs, warm-hearted characters and an invitation for children to rediscover reading and imagination. Later that same evening, Great Straits take the stage with “The great songs of dIRE sTRAITS” — nine musicians, large-scale production and Óscar Rosende’s widely praised fidelity to Mark Knopfler’s sound. The show has toured Germany, France, Portugal and Spain and is considered one of the finest Dire Straits tributes in Europe.
Set at Muelle 12 in the heart of Alicante’s harbour, El Muelle Live combines live music with sea views, a gastronomy zone — El Muelle Box, featuring L’Arruzz, Achavo and Cargo — and an open-air environment unlike any indoor venue.
