Balkan Paradise Orchestra Announce Nine-City Spain Tour to Debut Their Fourth Album

Barcelona’s Balkan Paradise Orchestra have announced a new national tour across Spain in the spring of 2027, presenting live material from their forthcoming fourth studio album. The tour opens on March 4 in Zaragoza at Sala López and spans nine cities across the country.

The confirmed dates are: March 4 — Zaragoza (Sala López), March 21 — Bilbao (Kafe Antzokia), April 2 — Madrid (Sala Villanos, formerly Caracol), April 3 — Valencia (Jerusalem Club), April 16 — Valladolid (Sala Porta Caeli), April 17 — Vitoria-Gasteiz (Sala Kubik), April 29 — Granada (Sala Planta Baja) and April 30 — Málaga (La Cochera Cabaret). The Barcelona date and venue are yet to be announced. Ticket prices range from €17 to €22 depending on the city.

Balkan Paradise Orchestra is a ten-piece ensemble of women composers and instrumentalists founded in Barcelona in 2015. Their sound blends Balkan brass tradition — trumpets, trombones, tubas, clarinets and percussion — with pop, electronic and world music influences, delivered through a highly choreographed live show that turns every concert into a collective celebration. The band has released three albums to date: “K’ataka”, “Odissea” and “Nèctar” (2024, Calaverita Records), the latter featuring collaborations with Meritxell Neddermann and Maruja Limón, produced by Arnau Altimir of Oques Grasses. In 2025–2026 they released the EP “Game Sessions Vol. II”, featuring remixes by Tanxugueiras, Querbeat and Raghu Dixit, among others. Their accolades include the Enderrock award for best folk album by popular vote, first prize at the international street music competition Haizetara, and Best International Tour at the Arc Awards 2022. The new album — the first with original compositions since 2024 — is being developed through an artistic residency at Fabra i Coats in Barcelona.
