Carlos Ares completes Low Festival 2026 lineup as event confirms 75 artists in Torrevieja

Low Festival has announced the final addition to its 2026 lineup: Carlos Ares, an artist from A Coruña who has become one of the most talked-about names in Spanish alternative pop in recent years. The confirmation closes out the festival’s full bill, which now stands at 75 artists across four stages and two food zones — the largest program in the festival’s history. The event runs July 31, August 1 and 2 at Parque Antonio Soria in Torrevieja.

Ares spent more than a decade working as a songwriter and producer for other artists before launching his own solo career in 2024 with “Peregrino”, an intimate, deeply personal record that became one of the year’s breakout critical successes and won Best Pop Album at the MIN Awards. In 2025 he followed it with “La Boca del Lobo”, a more electric and expansive second album that has sold out venues across Spain. His live shows have already taken him to festivals including BBK Live, Sonorama Ribera and Tomavistas, and his Torrevieja set is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated of this edition.

The announcement comes just days after Low Festival revealed its full DJ lineup last Friday, featuring Ella Pincha Sola, Plan B, Black Tag, Bailamamá, Las Hienas, Dani del Lío, Nando Costa, Orojondo, Hota and Don Fluor.

The concert program is split across three days. Friday, July 31 brings Kasabian, Iván Ferreiro, Fangoria, León Benavente, Ginebras, Ladilla Rusa, Rufus T. Firefly, Veintiuno, Éxtasis, La Plata, Papa Topo, Parquesvr, Perro and Toldos Verdes, with DJ sets from Dani del Lío, Ella Pincha Sola, Enriro, Jajajers djs, Jes set, Las Hienas djs, Neoverbeneo, Plan B, Quinto B, Rem djs and Zaza.

Saturday, August 1 features The Hives, Editors, Love of Lesbian on their farewell tour, Ultraligera, Alcalá Norte, Cycle, Ojete Calor, La Paloma, Besmaya, Innmir, Joseluis, Mala Gestión, Los Chivatos, Neverland Bari and Nuevos Vicios, alongside DJ sets from Pablopablo, Black Tag, Bailamamá, Bea Miau, Bita, Blitzmix, Isaac Corrales (Fascinado Club), Los Primos, Mel Rows, Nando Costa and Orojondo.

Sunday, August 2 closes the festival with Dani Fernández, La Casa Azul, Sidonie, Barry B, Carlos Ares, Depresión Sonora, Natalia Lacunza, Aiko El Grupo, Biela, Ciutat, Juventude, Nerve Agent, The Molotovs and Repion, with DJ sets from Flash Stereo Club djs, Pepe Difenders, Dj Madbel, Peredius, Papote, Fat Gordon, Second Djs, Los Reptiles, Hota and Don Fluor.

To make getting to the venue easier, organizers are running official shuttle services from Alicante, Valencia, Murcia, Benidorm, Calpe, Cartagena, Crevillente, La Mata, La Zenia, Denia, Elche, Mazarrón and Orihuela.
