Tickets Now Available for Green Day’s 'Nimrods' Movie

Tickets are now on sale for “Nimrods, ” the coming-of-age comedy inspired by the early years of Green Day. Special Event Cinema screenings will take place on August 11 and 14 in theaters worldwide, including nineteen cinemas across Spain in Andalusia, Aragon, the Canary Islands, Catalonia, Madrid, Valencia and Murcia.

The film follows three teenagers (played by Mason Thames, Kylr Coffman and Ryan Foust) who travel to Los Angeles believing their band, Analog Dogs, has been chosen to open for Green Day. Directed by Lee Kirk alongside the band itself, the story draws on Green Day’s real experiences touring in a van in the early 1990s, before the release of their breakout album “Dookie.”

The international release will include an exclusive introduction from the band and screenings of live performance footage after the film. The full soundtrack drops July 31, featuring the new track “I’m Never Gonna R.I.P., ” Green Day classics like “Longview” and “Wake Me Up When September Ends, ” plus songs credited to the fictional Analog Dogs, along with tracks by The Paradox, Mckenna Grace and Ultra Q.
