Rock Imperium 2027 Announces First Lineup: Helloween, Mayhem and Venom
Rock Imperium festival, set to take place July 2–4, 2027 at Parque El Batel in Cartagena, Spain, has unveiled its first wave of confirmed acts. Leading the announcement is German legends Helloween, who will bring a special show as part of their 40th anniversary tour.
Alongside Helloween, organizers confirmed Finnish melodic death metal act Children of Bodom, who will pay tribute to guitarist Alexi Laiho’s legacy in what will be their only Spanish date in 2027. Norwegian black metal pioneers Mayhem and extreme metal icons Venom will also play exclusive Spanish shows at the festival. Rounding out the first announcement is Swedish vocalist Erik Grönwall, known for his time fronting Skid Row and H.E.A.T.
The announcement came during the festival’s 2026 edition, which drew more than 50,000 attendees from over 40 countries with Iron Maiden headlining. Early promotional passes for the 2027 edition are already on sale, with the full lineup to be revealed gradually over the coming months.
