Nickelback Announce New Album 'Everything Under The Sun'
Canadian rock band Nickelback have announced their eleventh studio album, “Everything Under The Sun, ” due out October 30 via Virgin Music Group. Alongside the announcement, the band released the lead single “Rattle The Cage, ” featuring guitarist John 5, known for his work with Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie and Mötley Crüe.
The release marks the band’s first new music since 2022's “Get Rollin'.” It follows the success of the Netflix documentary “Hate to Love: Nickelback, ” which became a global streaming hit, and the “Get Rollin'” world tour, the fastest-selling and highest-attended tour of the band’s career.
Frontman Chad Kroeger said the new album shows every side of the band: “There are songs that hit as hard as anything we’ve ever done, songs that take chances, and songs that remind us why we’ve been doing this together for so long.” He described the heavy, high-energy “Rattle The Cage” as the perfect way to “kick the door open” ahead of the album.
“Everything Under The Sun” marks Nickelback’s first release under Virgin Music Group and will include 12 tracks. Over a career spanning more than three decades, the band has sold nearly 60 million albums worldwide and draws more than 50 million monthly listeners across streaming platforms.
