Thirty Seconds to Mars head to Spain for a two-album showdown in 2027
Thirty Seconds to Mars are coming back to Spain in spring 2027, and they are bringing two albums with them. The A Beautiful Lie vs This Is War tour is built around a simple but compelling premise: one night, two landmark records. Jared and Shannon Leto will perform material from “A Beautiful Lie” (2005) and “This Is War” (2009) in full, joined by former guitarist Tomo Miličević, who returns to the lineup for the first time since leaving the band in 2018. That reunion alone makes this tour worth paying attention to.
The Los Angeles band has been a fixture of alternative rock since their formation in 1998. Their 2005 album “A Beautiful Lie” was the breakthrough — driven by singles including The Kill (Bury Me), From Yesterday and the title track, it earned multi-platinum certification in the US and several European markets. In 2025, the band released a special anniversary edition of the record to mark its twentieth year. “This Is War”, released in 2009, pushed them further into arena territory. Produced in the shadow of a high-profile legal dispute with their label, the album spawned Kings & Queens, Closer to the Edge and the title track, and sold over four million copies worldwide. Across their career, Thirty Seconds to Mars have moved more than 15 million records and built a globally devoted following known as the Echelon.
In Spain, the band will perform on April 8, 2027 at the Movistar Arena in Madrid and on April 9, 2027 at the Roig Arena in Valencia. Both shows start at 8:30 PM. The two Spanish dates kick off a broader European run that opens on April 6 in Lisbon and moves through the continent’s largest arenas.
Tickets went on general sale on April 17, 2026 via LiveNation.es and Ticketmaster. Prices start at €52.50 for Madrid and €58.50 for Valencia. Age policy: under-14s may only attend with a parent or legal guardian, and anyone under 16 must bring a signed authorization form.
