Megadeth Bring Their Farewell Tour to Spain with Black Label Society and Testament
Megadeth will bring their farewell tour to Spain with two concerts in Barcelona and Madrid. Led by Dave Mustaine, the band will be joined by Black Label Society, the group founded by guitarist Zakk Wylde, also known for his work with Ozzy Osbourne and Pantera, and Testament, one of the defining acts of California’s Bay Area thrash metal scene.
Since the early 1980s, Megadeth have played a significant role in the development of thrash metal. Their fast-paced guitar riffs, intricate instrumental arrangements and distinctive musical identity have helped establish them as one of the genre’s most recognised bands. These Spanish dates form part of the group’s farewell tour, following Mustaine’s announcement that he intends to bring Megadeth’s career to a close.
According to the organisers, the setlist will feature iconic songs spanning Megadeth’s 17 studio albums. The lineup is further strengthened by two established names in heavy music. Black Label Society combine the weight of heavy metal with elements of hard rock, driven by Wylde’s distinctive guitar work. Testament, meanwhile, remain a major name in the thrash metal tradition that emerged from California’s Bay Area.
The two Spanish shows will bring three established metal acts together on the same bill. For Megadeth fans, the concerts offer an opportunity to hear songs from across the band’s career performed live during their farewell tour, with Black Label Society and Testament joining them for both dates.

April 10, 2027 — Barcelona, Olimpic Arena Badalona.
April 12, 2027 — Madrid, Movistar Arena.
Barcelona and Madrid will host the two Spanish dates announced for this leg of Megadeth’s farewell tour. Both concerts will feature the band alongside special guests Black Label Society and Testament.
