The Interrupters Return to Spain with a New Album and Two Ska-Punk Shows
The energy of ska-punk is heading back to Spain: The Interrupters have announced two shows for May 2027, in Madrid and A Coruña. The American band will arrive with new music and the explosive spirit that has made them one of the standout acts in today’s punk scene.
Formed in Los Angeles in 2011, the band features vocalist Aimee Interrupter and the Bivona brothers — Kevin, Justin, and Jesse. Their sound brings together the urgency of punk rock, the bounce of ska, and the influence of 2 Tone, creating infectious, high-energy songs built for live audiences.
Throughout their career, The Interrupters have released four studio albums and are now preparing to unveil their fifth. The band’s international profile has continued to grow through years of touring and performances alongside major punk rock acts, while their reputation as a powerful live band remains central to their appeal.
The Spanish tour includes two dates. On May 17, 2027, The Interrupters will perform at La Riviera in Madrid. On May 20, they will take the stage at Sala Pelícano in A Coruña. Both shows promise the band’s signature mix of catchy melodies, driving guitars, and ska rhythms.
For fans of punk rock and ska-punk, these concerts offer a chance to experience The Interrupters live and discover material from the band’s upcoming release in Spanish venues.
