Noches del Botánico reveals full lineup for its tenth anniversary: 55 concerts in Madrid

Noches del Botánico has announced its complete program for the tenth anniversary season. From June 3 to July 31, the Real Jardín Botánico Alfonso XIII on the campus of Madrid’s Complutense University will host 55 concerts featuring more than 60 artists. Over the past decade, the festival has welcomed more than one million attendees — and its anniversary edition is already breaking records before a single note is played: over 65,000 tickets sold and 9 shows completely sold out, including Rick Astley, ZZ Top, Zaz, Belle & Sebastian and Diana Krall.

The lineup blends returning favorites with major debuts. Artists who have already left their mark on the Botanical Garden stage are back for the occasion: Rubén Blades, Tom Jones, Van Morrison, Nile Rodgers & Chic, Snarky Puppy, Pat Metheny and LP. Making their first appearances at the venue are Garbage, John Legend, OMD, The Kooks, Jeff Goldblum, the Beat project — featuring Tony Levin, Adrian Belew, Danny Carey and Steve Vai — and electronic artist Tomora. The edition opens with a tribute to Enrique Morente and Lagartija Nick’s landmark album Omega. New dates have also been confirmed for Rigoberta Bandini, Love of Lesbian, Jean-Michel Jarre and Danny Elfman.

The Latin American strand of the program features Babasonicos, El Zar, María Becerra, Cultura Profética, Gilsons, Lasso, Elvis Crespo and Silvestre y La Naranja. The Spanish contingent includes M-Clan, Veintiuno, Pablo López and Marta Santos, while guitarist Yerai Cortés represents the flamenco roots of the programming. Gates open at 7:30 PM for most concerts and at 7:00 PM for Van Morrison’s dates. The site offers its usual range of complementary experiences: green spaces, food and drink options, a wine bar, a market stall area and the Zona Momentos.

Tickets for the newly confirmed dates go on sale on Tuesday, February 17 at 12:00 noon at nochesdelbotanico.com and at El Corte Inglés outlets, with physical sales starting 24 hours after the online launch.
