Nits al Parc 2026: comedy opens the season in June as Camela and Revólver head to Mutxamel in July
The open-air cultural series Nits al Parc returns to Parque Canyar de les Portelles in Mutxamel this weekend, launching a new summer edition that brings together stand-up comedy, improv theatre and live music across June and July. The festival has become one of the most established summer fixtures in the Alicante province, drawing thousands of spectators each year to one of the area’s most atmospheric outdoor venues.
The programme opens on Friday, June 5 with Mentes Peligrosas, a collective comedy show that brings four of Spain’s most prominent comedians onto a single stage: Ana Morgade, Álex Clavero, David Cepo and Galder Varas. Four distinct voices and styles sharing one night — the combination promises an evening of sharp timing, improvised moments and sustained laughter. On Saturday, June 6, Goyo Jiménez arrives in Mutxamel with América Forever (The Final Refrito), an updated take on one of the most recognisable shows of his career. Jiménez has long been one of the defining names of Spanish stand-up comedy, and this performance brings together the precision and wit that have made him a consistent favourite with audiences across the country. The first weekend concludes on Sunday, June 7 with Misión: Impro-sible, hosted by Aguilera and Meni. Pure improvisation theatre: no fixed script, no two performances alike, with the audience playing an active and essential role in shaping what unfolds on stage.
July raises the stakes with two major concerts. On July 3, Camela will perform at the Parque Canyar de les Portelles as part of a tour marking more than thirty years in music. The duo will revisit the hits that built their legacy and defined an entire era of Spanish tecno-rumba — songs that have become part of the country’s collective memory across generations. The following evening, July 4, Revólver takes the stage. Led by Carlos Goñi, the band stands as one of the most enduring and influential forces in Spanish rock. Their concert in Mutxamel will draw from a catalogue built over decades — songs that have outlasted trends and continue to resonate with audiences of all ages.
