MOONSPELL, IOTUNN and TODOMAL: Three Spanish Shows of Gothic and Progressive Metal
Portuguese metal band MOONSPELL will bring GOD IS A VAMPIRE TOUR 2027 to Spain as part of the most ambitious headline tour of their career. The European run will support their new album, FAR FROM GOD, while also marking the band’s 35th anniversary. Over more than three decades, MOONSPELL have established a distinctive identity within gothic metal, and this upcoming tour represents another significant chapter in their history.
For GOD IS A VAMPIRE TOUR, the band are preparing a dedicated live production featuring a redesigned stage, powerful lighting, immersive video and a massive sound. The production is intended to bring the atmosphere of FAR FROM GOD to the stage, presenting the album in a fully developed live setting.
MOONSPELL will be joined by IOTUNN, the progressive metal band from Denmark and the Faroe Islands, and TODOMAL, the Spanish atmospheric doom metal project. The lineup brings together three distinct approaches to heavy music: MOONSPELL’s gothic identity, IOTUNN’s progressive sound and TODOMAL’s atmospheric doom metal.
The Spanish leg of GOD IS A VAMPIRE TOUR 2027 features three shows:
12 March 2027 — Madrid, Sala Shoko.
13 March 2027 — Mislata (Valencia), Sala Repvblicca.
14 March 2027 — Barcelona, Razzmatazz 2.
The Spanish dates are part of a wider European tour comprising 40 shows across 19 countries. The concerts will offer audiences the opportunity to experience FAR FROM GOD live and see MOONSPELL’s new stage production, alongside two bands representing different strands of contemporary heavy music.
