Vetusta Morla Return to Madrid with New Music and Three Shows at Movistar Arena
Following a period of creative rest, Vetusta Morla return to the stage with new music and the Gira de Vuelta: Canciones de Ida tour. The Madrid-based band will perform three concerts at Movistar Arena, presenting material from a new chapter in its musical journey. The shows will take place on 19, 20 and 21 November 2026, making Madrid a key stop on the group’s long-awaited return to live performance.
The band’s comeback is closely connected to the work on a forthcoming album and the creation of previously unreleased songs. The first preview of this new material, “Si vuelves”, was released on 18 September 2026, offering an initial glimpse of the direction ahead. Vetusta Morla continue to develop their distinctive place within Spanish alternative rock, bringing together powerful instrumentation, thoughtful songwriting and a carefully crafted sound.
The tour title, “Canciones de Ida”, points towards movement and musical exploration. Rather than simply revisiting the past, the band is looking ahead through new compositions while returning to the live setting where its music takes on a different dimension. The interaction between the musicians and the audience remains central to the experience.
Movistar Arena in Madrid will provide the setting for this new stage. Across three consecutive evenings, audiences will have the opportunity to hear Vetusta Morla’s evolving repertoire and experience how the latest songs become part of the band’s live performances. The concerts mark a significant moment for the group and for Madrid’s contemporary music scene.
