Sebastian Bach Officially Becomes Twisted Sister Frontman with Dee Snider’s Blessing
Legendary vocalist Sebastian Bach has confirmed that he received full approval from Dee Snider to step in as the frontman of the iconic band Twisted Sister for upcoming concerts in fall 2026. The musician shared this during an interview on Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk on SiriusXM, adding that the conversation with Snider was so emotional that neither could hold back tears.
Sebastian Bach noted that their discussion lasted about 45 minutes and was a deeply moving moment for him: “I have tears in my eyes right now. He said he gives me his absolute blessing, ” Bach said, emphasizing that this is more than just a concert—it is a tribute to heavy metal history.
The decision to invite Bach to the band is connected to the fact that Dee Snider is temporarily stepping back from touring due to health issues, including degenerative arthritis and knee weakness, which prevent him from performing with his usual energy. Initially, the group had to cancel its 50th-anniversary tour, but meeting with Bach allowed them to save part of the concerts and keep fans excited about live performances.
Joining the band, in addition to Sebastian Bach, is drummer Joey Cassata, known for his collaborations with Ace Frehley. Guitarists Jay Jay French and Eddie Ojeda confirmed that Bach will be the frontman for several fall 2026 shows, while his solo career will remain unchanged. For Sebastian, this is a chance to fulfill a childhood dream: as a teenager, he was already a fan of Twisted Sister and even painted the band’s logo on his school jacket.
For fans, this is not only a chance to see the iconic band live but also a unique opportunity to hear Twisted Sister’s legendary hits performed by the new frontman, who has long been recognized as one of heavy metal’s finest voices. The band promises to preserve the spirit of the original lineup and deliver bright and energetic performances.
Exact dates and venues for the concerts featuring Sebastian Bach will be announced closer to fall 2026, but it is already clear that this event will be landmark for fans of the genre and lovers of classic rock.
