Fontaines D.C. To Play Madrid And Barcelona In October

Irish band Fontaines D.C. has announced the biggest arena tour of their career — 20 shows across 14 countries this autumn. In Spain, the group will play two dates: October 22 at Movistar Arena in Madrid and October 24 at Sant Jordi Club in Barcelona. The tour opens October 21 in Lisbon and closes November 27 at London’s O2 Arena.

The shows support the band’s fifth studio album, “Dopamine Chamber, ” due out October 16 via XL Recordings. The record was produced by James Ford, who also worked on the band’s previous album, “Romance” (2024), which was certified platinum in the UK. The album’s first single, “Marianne ,” is already out.

Tickets for the Spanish dates go on general sale September 3 at 11:00am local time via livenation.es, ticketmaster.es and elcorteingles.es; presale begins September 1.
