Cruz Beckham releases debut EP, Wear & Tear
Cruz Beckham has released his debut EP, Wear & Tear. The project was released on August 21 and features six indie rock tracks recorded with his band, The Breakers.
The EP was produced by Justin Raisen and Lewis Pesacov, who have previously worked with Kim Gordon, Joji and Charli XCX. For the release, Cruz selected the songs based on audience feedback during his first tour of the UK and the United States.
Beckham’s music career began when he was a child. In 2016, at the age of 11, he released the single If Every Day Was Christmas for charity. He later turned his focus to indie rock and guitar-driven music, releasing several singles, including Optics, Lick The Toad, For Your Love, Yeah Yeah Yeah, Waste Your Pain and Seeing Red.
To coincide with the EP’s release, Beckham has also prepared music videos for the tracks that previously had no visual accompaniment.
In the coming weeks, the musician will perform at Reading & Leeds, Rock N Roll Circus and Lollapalooza.
