BLACKPINK Return with Cinematic Scale: “GO” Teaser and Details of the DEADLINE Mini-Album
South Korean group BLACKPINK is officially ushering in a new era — and doing so on a scale comparable to a major film premiere. The group has unveiled the teaser for the music video of “GO”, the title track of their third mini-album, DEADLINE. The record is set for release on February 27, 2026.
The teaser immediately raised expectations. Visually, it embraces a science-fiction aesthetic: cosmic landscapes, galactic imagery, and striking scenes featuring the members create the impression of a large-scale, meticulously crafted production. The dramatic and tense musical backdrop enhances the almost cinematic feel of the project. This approach makes it clear that BLACKPINK’s comeback is positioned as one of the most ambitious of their career.
“GO” serves as the centerpiece of the DEADLINE mini-album, which includes five tracks: “GO, ” the previously released single “Jump”, as well as “Me and My, ” “Champion, ” and “Fxxxboy.” “Jump” was released ahead of the album and marked the first musical signal of a new chapter for the group, sparking widespread discussion among fans worldwide.
This release marks BLACKPINK’s first group project in nearly three and a half years, following their 2022 album Born Pink. During that time, the members focused on individual activities and solo ventures. Now, they reunite for a full-scale comeback already being described as one of the most anticipated events of 2026 in the K-pop industry.
The release of the DEADLINE mini-album coincides with the group’s DEADLINE World Tour, which began in July 2025. The tour spans major venues and stadiums across multiple countries, and the arrival of new music during its final stretch further heightens global interest in BLACKPINK’s return.
With a strategically timed release, a high-concept visual direction, and an ongoing global tour, BLACKPINK reinforce their position on the international stage. The premiere of the “GO” music video is expected to become a defining moment of the DEADLINE era.
