Scorpions announce sci-fi graphic novel based on “Rock You Like a Hurricane”
Scorpions have announced an officially licensed graphic novel, “Scorpions: Hurricane, ” inspired by the iconic imagery of their “Rock You Like a Hurricane” music video. The 96-page, full-color hardcover was produced in partnership with publisher Sumerian Comics and sends the band on a science-fiction adventure beyond Earth.
In the story, set centuries in the future, Scorpions are no longer touring the world but the galaxy, with their latest stop being Venus-7, a mysterious planet where they’re captured by a technologically advanced society of warriors. The band must find a way to escape and make it back in time for their next encore. The book is written by Nathan Yocum, illustrated by Daniel Maine, colored by Fares Maese and lettered by Micah Myers. It’s set for release in October 2026 and is now available for pre-order. The announcement comes as the band prepares for its Las Vegas residency, “Coming Home To Las Vegas, ” running September 17 through October 3 at PH Live at Planet Hollywood, with support from Buckcherry.
