Çantamarta release “tictac”, first single of their new era
Çantamarta have unveiled “tictac”, a new single the group presents as the opening move of their next chapter. The track blends Caribbean influences with French house elements, producing a dance-oriented composition with a dynamic structure that works equally well on the floor and as a listening experience.
The cross-border trio — vocalist Luislo, of Colombian-Venezuelan origin, and Andalusian producers Beni and Omar — has been active since 2018, weaving together R& B, neo-soul, hip-hop and house with Latin Caribbean folk traditions. Over seven years they have released projects including “PASARELA” and “nomeolvides”, collaborated with Rusowsky, Crystal Fighters and Alba Reche, and in 2026 produced “Tertúlia”, the debut LP of Galician duo Fillas de Cassandra.
“tictac” arrives after a period the band has described as one of building a solid, long-form catalogue. The group positions the single as the clearest statement yet of where their sound is headed — a release designed to reach both existing fans and new audiences alike.
