Pedro Pastor and Los Locos Descalzos mark 10 years with a first-ever full Catalan tour
Pedro Pastor and Los Locos Descalzos are celebrating a decade together with a sweeping Spanish tour that, for the first time, takes in all four Catalan provincial capitals. The March and April dates are part of the “Curtcircuit” concert series and coincide with the release of the anniversary album “10 Locos Años Descalzos”.
The record brings together 12 tracks from across Pastor’s career, reworked with fresh arrangements and high-profile collaborations: Silvio Rodríguez, Chico César, Rozalén, El Kanka, Iseo, Alan Sutton and El Plan de la Mariposa, among others. A brand-new composition — a salsa track — rounds out the album and hints at where the project may head next. The whole thing was recorded, produced and mixed at El Tercero Studios in Barcelona by Carlos Manzanares. The result keeps the sharp, socially committed lyrics Pastor is known for, wrapped in a more sophisticated and danceable sound.
Live, Pastor is backed by Los Locos Descalzos: Chobby Santoro (bass and vocals), Guillem Arnau (drums, percussion and vocals) and Álvaro Navarro (guitar and vocals). Their sets blend singer-songwriter traditions with folk, rap and ska, creating an intimate but high-energy connection with audiences.
The Catalan leg opens on 20 March in Barcelona (La Paloma), followed by Tarragona on 21 March (Sala Zero), then Lleida on 17 April (Cafè del Teatre) and Girona on 18 April (La Mirona 2). Tickets are on sale now through the artist’s official website.
