Delain vocalist Diana Leah launches DYYA solo project with debut single “Holy Water”

Diana Leah, lead vocalist of Dutch metal band Delain, has announced a new solo project under the name DYYA and released the official music video for its debut single, “Holy Water”. The video went live on March 14, 2026, and was also shared on Delain’s official Instagram account.

The track is written and performed under the DYYA alias, with production, mixing and mastering handled by Andrea Fusini. Outlets covering the release describe “Holy Water” as a genre-blending mix of electronic textures, pop hooks, metal energy and hip-hop influences — a distinct departure from the symphonic metal sound of Delain. The accompanying clip features a sleek visual aesthetic centered on Leah’s stage presence and vocal charisma.

Delain themselves backed the release on Instagram, writing: “Our Diana just dropped a single for her new solo project and it sounds amazing.”

Leah joined Delain in 2022, stepping in as the replacement for longtime vocalist Charlotte Wessels. The band’s first studio album with her, “Dark Waters”, was released in February 2023 on Napalm Records. Born in Alba Iulia, Romania, she spent roughly a decade in Italy, followed by five years in Canada, before returning to northern Italy, where she currently lives.
