Los Enemigos announce new album “Canciones Chulas” for October 2026
Spanish rock veterans Los Enemigos have announced “Canciones Chulas”, a new full-length album due out in October 2026 on Mushroom Pillow. The title track will be released as the first single on April 16. It marks the band’s first release on a record label in over two decades.
The album follows Bestieza (2020) and signals a new chapter for the group, ending a long period of self-managed releases. The classic lineup — Josele Santiago, Fino Oyonarte, Chema “Animal” Pérez, and David Krahe — remains intact, bringing the same blend of irony, directness, and deep roots in Spanish rock that made them a pivotal act between the end of the Movida in the '80s and the alternative explosion of the '90s.
Active since 1985, the band’s catalogue — La vida mata (1990), La cuenta atrás (1991), Nada (1999) and Bestieza (2020) — cements their place as one of the most significant acts in the history of rock en español. 2026 also marks the 40th anniversary of their debut LP, “Ferpectamente”.
