Muse Bring The Wow! Signal Europa Tour to Spain
British rock band Muse will bring The Wow! Signal Europa Tour to Spain, with four concerts scheduled in Madrid and Valencia. Led by Matt Bellamy, the band will perform at two major indoor venues as part of its European tour, presenting a live show connected to its latest album and its distinctive blend of alternative rock, electronic elements and ambitious musical concepts.
At the centre of this tour is The Wow! Signal, Muse’s tenth studio album, released in 2026. The album takes its name from the famous Wow! Signal, a radio signal detected by astronomers in 1977 that has since become associated with the search for possible extraterrestrial signals. This scientific mystery provides a reference point for the record’s science-fiction imagery and its broader themes of the unknown, technology and humanity’s place in the universe.
Over the course of their career, Muse have developed a recognisable sound built around alternative rock, powerful guitar arrangements, dramatic melodies and electronic textures. Matt Bellamy’s distinctive vocals and the band’s dynamic instrumentation are central to their musical identity. Their live performances also place considerable emphasis on visual presentation, bringing together lighting, large-scale imagery and carefully developed stage production.
The Spanish leg of The Wow! Signal Europa Tour will include two shows in each city. Muse will perform at Movistar Arena in Madrid on 19 and 20 January 2027. The tour will then move to Valencia, where the band is scheduled to play at Roig Arena on 23 and 24 January 2027. All four dates form part of the same European tour.
The new live programme is associated with The Wow! Signal and draws on the musical characteristics that have long defined Muse: forceful instrumentation, layered electronic sounds and a cinematic approach to atmosphere. The Spanish concerts will give audiences an opportunity to experience the band’s latest material live and hear how its new musical ideas translate to the stage.
