aespa bring SYNK: COMPLæXITY to Barcelona — K-pop’s biggest world tour lands at Palau Sant Jordi
aespa are not a conventional K-pop group. Karina, Giselle, Winter, and Ningning have built an entire fictional universe around their music — a parallel digital world called KWANGYA, populated by their virtual alter egos, blurring the boundary between pop performance and immersive storytelling. That world is coming to Spain on January 31, 2027, when the quartet performs at Barcelona’s Palau Sant Jordi as part of their “SYNK: COMPLæXITY” world tour — the only Spanish date on a global run spanning Asia, Latin America, North America, and Europe between August 2026 and February 2027.
Formed in 2020 under SM Entertainment, aespa broke through immediately with “Black Mamba” and have not slowed down since. Their debut full-length album Armageddon (2024) topped iTunes album charts in 25 countries. Their second studio album, LEMONADE, arrives on May 29, 2026 — ten songs that the group describes as their most confident and evolved work to date — and serves as the creative backbone of the new tour. SYNK: COMPLæXITY is presented as a complete reinvention from their previous SYNK: æXIS LINE outing: entirely new choreography, stage design, and visual narrative built around the keyword “Crack”. aespa have proven their arena credentials at Coachella, Lollapalooza, and Outside Lands, and were named Group of the Year at the Billboard Women in Music 2025 awards.
Palau Sant Jordi — Barcelona’s landmark indoor arena, host to some of the biggest shows in Spanish concert history — is the right stage for a production of this scale. For the MY fandom in Spain, this is a first: aespa had no Spanish date on their previous world tour.
