KISS Reveal the Secrets Behind Their Farewell Tour in End of the Road Documentary
KISS have unveiled the trailer for “KISS: End of the Road”, a documentary dedicated to the band’s farewell tour of the same name. Directed by DJ Viola, the film will explore not only the scale of the live shows but also the band’s life behind the scenes, including internal tensions, health issues and the challenges of an extensive touring schedule.
The End of the Road tour began in January 2019 and concluded on December 2, 2023, with a final concert at New York’s Madison Square Garden. During this period, the band performed approximately 250 shows, bringing their five-decade touring history to a close.
One of the moments featured in the trailer concerns an incident in Brazil, when Gene Simmons suffered severe dehydration and had to perform part of the concert while seated. The documentary will also examine the relationships between the band members and the physical demands of their elaborate stage production.
“KISS: End of the Road” is scheduled to premiere on November 19, 2026, via an online broadcast on the band’s official website. Access will start at $14.99, with the film available for seven days. A subsequent release on other streaming platforms is also expected.
The documentary promises to portray KISS' farewell to touring not merely as a landmark rock event, but as a demanding journey behind the spectacle.
