Fabio Lione’s Dawn of Victory

Fabio Lione’s Dawn of Victory to play Madrid on November 20, its only Spanish show in 2026, with over 70% of the venue sold

Three weeks remain until the only Spanish concert of Fabio Lione’s Dawn of Victory in 2026. On Friday, November 20, the Italian vocalist will perform the great anthems of early Rhapsody at Revi Live in Madrid. According to the organizers, more than 70% of the venue’s capacity has already been sold.

There will be no multi-city tour this time. Madrid will bring together, in a single night, the fans who want to hear Rhapsody’s classics again in the voice that turned them into symphonic power metal anthems. The expectation builds on the warm reception of the project’s previous visit to Spain, which left venues almost full and an audience fully engaged from start to finish.

Talking about Rhapsody inevitably means talking about Fabio Lione. His voice was one of the key elements of the sound that, in the late nineties, revolutionized European power metal by combining speed, big melodies, symphonic arrangements and an epic quality that became the signature of a whole generation. With Dawn of Victory, the vocalist returns to the essence of the band’s first era, the one that produced landmark albums such as “Legendary Tales”, “Symphony of Enchanted Lands”, “Dawn of Victory” and “Power of the Dragonflame”.

There is no new album to promote and no classics held back for the final minutes. The show is designed to bring back the songs that made history, with anthems such as “Holy Thunderforce”, “Land of Immortals”, “Dawn of Victory” and “Emerald Sword”, tracks that remain essential to understanding the evolution of symphonic power metal.

The last Spanish tour made clear what to expect: Lione in exceptional vocal shape, a repertoire with virtually no concessions and a run of classics that barely gives the crowd a break. His strength on stage goes beyond his voice. His charisma, his approachability and his ease in connecting with fans turn each show into an experience that goes beyond nostalgia, because these songs still stir the same passion they did when they were released. A year ago the tour left venues almost full and hundreds of voices singing Rhapsody’s anthems; this time, everything points to an even more special night, with fans arriving from different parts of the country and a Revi Live ready to sing every song from beginning to end.

Ticket sales reflect that anticipation: three weeks before the concert, more than 70% of Revi Live’s capacity is sold. The response shows how alive the legacy of Rhapsody remains, along with the appetite to hear these songs performed by one of the most recognizable voices in power metal history. On Friday, November 20, Madrid will have one chance to see Fabio Lione revisit the anthems that marked Rhapsody’s beginnings.

Remaining tickets can be purchased at ticketgate.es for €35 plus booking fees. The concert is part of Z! On Tour, the initiative linked to Z! Live Rock Fest that, all year round, brings rock and metal to Spanish venues. The project is backed by the Zamora City Council and the Zamora Provincial Council (Diputación Provincial de Zamora), whose support is fundamental for the activity to keep growing beyond the festival dates.
