Michael Schenker Group launches Don’t Sell Your Soul Tour in Spain
Only one week to go. On November 5, Michael Schenker Group will open its European tour for “Don’t Sell Your Soul” at Razzmatazz 1 in Barcelona. León, on November 7 at Lion Rock Fest, and Bilbao, on November 8 at Santana Gold, complete the first stops of the run. Spanish audiences will be the first to experience the new tour with Schenker and Robin McAuley.
Robin McAuley will be the special vocalist for the tour. His presence offers something extra to those who grew up with “Perfect Timing” or “Save Yourself”: the chance to hear alongside Schenker a voice inseparable from that era of hard rock. The connection extends to the present as well, since McAuley sings on “Eye of the Storm” and “Sixstring Shotgun” on “Don’t Sell Your Soul”.
Released by earMUSIC in 2025, “Don’t Sell Your Soul” gives the tour its name. Its songs will share the stage with MSG classics in concerts that bring together the band’s current work and a career spanning more than five decades, from Schenker’s years in Scorpions and UFO to leading his own group.
The Barcelona bill has a new addition: Catalan band Savaged will open at 20:00, with MSG starting at 21:10 and doors at 19:00. Formed in Barcelona in 2021, Savaged play heavy metal with eighties roots, sharp guitars and a live-first approach. After their debut “Night Stealer” (2024), they released “Rising” (2025) on No Remorse Records. Their sound connects with fans of Judas Priest, Riot and Dokken, and has already taken them to Germany’s Headbangers Open Air festival.
In Bilbao, the night will be opened by Be For You from León, who have spent more than a decade playing melodic hard rock, with powerful guitars and room for big ballads. Their debut “Beyond Love & Compassion” and songs such as “April Rain” reflect that blend of strength and melody. Also linked to Lion Rock Fest, they will play at 19:30, with doors at 19:00, and MSG will take the stage at 20:45. Schedules for León are yet to be announced.
Tickets for Barcelona and Bilbao are available at ticketgate.es for €35 plus booking fees. León tickets are at lionrockfest.com. The tour is organized by Lion Rock Fest, Z! On Tour and Artisti-k Management.
