Ginebras in Madrid: Spain’s indie pop phenomenon heads to Noches del Botánico
Few bands have grown as naturally and rapidly as Ginebras within Spain’s current indie pop scene. The Madrid-based quartet — Magüi Berto on rhythm guitar and lead vocals, Sandra Sabater on lead guitar, Raquel López on bass, and Juls Acosta on drums — has spent the past few years turning venues across Spain into full-on celebrations, powered by sharp melodies, autobiographical lyrics, and an unstoppable live energy. On June 13, 2026, the band will perform at the Real Jardín Botánico Alfonso XIII in Madrid, as part of the Noches del Botánico festival.
Their debut album “Ya dormiré cuando me muera” (2020) won the MIN Award for Best Pop Album of the Year and was ranked among the top Spanish rock and pop records of 2020 by El País. Their follow-up, “¿Quién es Billie Max?” (2023), pushed them into festival headliner territory, with tracks like “Alex Turner”, “Ansiedad”, and the Dani Martín collaboration “Desastre de persona” becoming defining anthems of a generation. Now they arrive with a new chapter: “Donde nada es para tanto”, their third album, previewed by the single “Mi Diario” — a more rock-edged, emotionally raw turn that signals genuine artistic growth.
In Madrid, Ginebras will blend their newest material with the fan favourites that have built their following show by show. Opening the evening in the Alhambra Moments Zone, Zaragoza-based artist Elem brings her own brand of emotional pop — drawing comparisons to Zahara, Olivia Rodrigo, and Amaia — before the main event takes over. It is worth noting that the concert has already sold out, making this one of the most anticipated shows of the Madrid summer.
Doors open at 19:30, with Ginebras taking the stage at 22:00. Tickets started from 30 € plus booking fees and are currently sold out. Register on the official website to be notified if further tickets become available.
