Clutch bring 35 years of heavy rock to three Spanish stages in 2026
Clutch don’t do nostalgia tours. The Maryland quartet — Neil Fallon on vocals, Tim Sult on guitar, Dan Maines on bass and Jean-Paul Gaster on drums — have spent 35 years building a catalog and a live reputation that renders anniversary talk beside the point. They simply keep going, keep touring and keep delivering shows that remind audiences why the band became a cult institution in the first place.
June 2026 brings them back to Spain, a country where their uncompromising approach to heavy rock has always found a receptive crowd. Their most recent studio album, “Sunrise on Slaughter Beach” (2022), was produced by Grammy-nominated Tom Dalgety (Ghost, Royal Blood, Pixies) and recorded at The Magpie Cage in Baltimore. It landed as further proof that Clutch’s engine hasn’t lost a beat — dense stoner rock riffs, an impossibly tight rhythm section and Fallon’s commanding presence, all intact. A successful UK run ahead of these Spanish dates drew unanimous praise from the specialist press, underlining why the band remains one of the most reliable live acts in rock.
Support comes from Bokassa, the Norwegian power trio from Trondheim who coined the term stonerpunk to describe their collision of punk, hardcore and stoner metal. Metallica’s Lars Ulrich handpicked them to join the WorldWired Tour in 2019 after declaring them his favourite new band; since then they’ve toured alongside Judas Priest, Mastodon and Baroness and played some of Europe’s biggest festivals. Their fourth album, “All Out of Dreams” (2024), confirms their standing as one of the most explosive live acts on the European circuit. Expect the room to be well and truly warmed up before Clutch take the stage.
Three dates: 4 June at La Riviera in Madrid, 5 June at Sala Apolo in Barcelona, and 6 June at Santana 27 in Bilbao. Tickets are available at lasttour.org.
