Angelus Apatrida Live in Mallorca: Spain’s Thrash Legends Storm Es Gremi
Angelus Apatrida, Spain’s most internationally acclaimed thrash metal band, are coming to Mallorca on Saturday, June 6, 2026. The show takes place at Sala Es Gremi in Palma, with local metallers Whoremageddon opening the night — one of the heaviest and most committed acts the Balearic Islands have produced.
The concert carries extra weight beyond the music itself. It is being staged by Deathlight Music to celebrate its 20th anniversary as a promoter — two decades of bringing heavy music to the island, marked by a band that represents the very best of Spanish metal. Angelus Apatrida were formed in March 2000 in Albacete and have since released eight studio albums, toured extensively across Europe and beyond, and signed with Century Media Records. Their latest album “Aftermath” (October 2023) features guest appearances from Jamey Jasta (Hatebreed), Todd La Torre (Queensrÿche), Pablo García (Warcry) and rapper Sho-Hai, and was recorded in Albacete before being mixed by Zeuss in Massachusetts. International press praised it as the strongest work of their career.
On June 6, Whoremageddon will set the tone before Angelus Apatrida take the stage as part of their Summer of Malevolence 2026 tour — a setlist built from twenty-five years of uncompromising thrash, delivered with the precision and aggression that has made them a must-see live act.
