STITCHED UP HEART Announce New Album Medusa And Release Music Video For Bold Single “Glitch Bitch”
American rock band STITCHED UP HEART have officially announced the release of their new studio album Medusa, scheduled to arrive on June 12, 2026. The record will be released via Judge & Jury Records, a label founded by renowned producer Howard Benson together with THREE DAYS GRACE drummer Neil Sanderson. This will be the band’s first full-length release in several years and marks a new chapter in their creative evolution.
Along with the album announcement, STITCHED UP HEART have unveiled the official music video for the new single “Glitch Bitch”, which is now available online. The track showcases a heavier and more modern sound, blending dense guitar riffs, electronic elements, and the emotionally charged vocals the band are known for.
The song “Glitch Bitch” was written with members of Conquer Divide, including vocalist Kiarely Castillo and Kristen Sturgis. Lyrically, the track focuses on self-expression and confidence in the digital age, where the line between real and online identity continues to blur. According to the band, the song represents a rejection of imposed standards and a declaration of individuality.
Visually, the music video is rich in style and draws inspiration from contemporary e-girl and alternative internet culture. The clip features appearances by well-known goth and emo influencers with a combined audience of millions, including Dani Divine, Annie Miao, and Miss Merder. This creative direction highlights the band’s connection to a new generation of alternative culture and reinforces the project’s visual concept.
The upcoming album Medusa will include ten tracks, among them Love & Death, Sick Sick Sick, Cannibal, Meet Me After Life, the title track Medusa, and Ex-Termination. The album title references the mythological figure Medusa as a symbol of strength, dangerous beauty, and inner resistance — themes that align closely with STITCHED UP HEART’s lyrical and musical identity.
Formed in Los Angeles in 2010, STITCHED UP HEART have established themselves as a notable force within the modern alternative and hard rock scene. Their discography includes the albums Never Alone (2016) and Darkness (2020), both of which received strong recognition from fans of the genre.
The announcement of Medusa comes amid an active period for the band. In late 2025, STITCHED UP HEART wrapped up an extensive tour, and in 2026 they are set to return to the stage with new live performances, including appearances alongside Sebastian Bach. All of this positions the upcoming release as one of the most anticipated events in today’s alternative rock landscape.
