NWOBHM legends SATAN announce a run of concerts in Spain in February 2026
British heavy metal band SATAN, one of the key acts of the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal, have officially confirmed a series of concerts in Spain scheduled for early 2026. The band will perform a short tour covering several cities, becoming a notable event for fans of classic metal and old-school thrash.
Formed in Newcastle in the late 1970s, the band has long held a special place in the history of the genre. SATAN were part of the original British wave that also produced Iron Maiden, Saxon and Diamond Head. Despite periods of inactivity, the group not only preserved its legacy but successfully returned to the stage in the 2010s, resuming active touring and recording.
The Spanish tour of SATAN is set for February 2026 and will include four dates. The band will perform on February 19 in Barcelona, February 20 in Valencia, February 21 in Madrid, and will conclude the run on February 22 in Portugalete, in the province of Biscay. All venues are well known among the local metal community and regularly host international heavy music acts.
Tickets for the SATAN concerts in Spain are already available through official channels and promoters’ websites. Prices vary depending on the city and ticket category, with advance tickets ranging approximately from 20 to 27 euros, while tickets purchased on the day of the show may reach 30 euros. In some cases, special offers are available for fan club members and early buyers.
The return of SATAN to Spanish stages once again confirms the lasting interest in classic heavy metal and NWOBHM decades after the genre’s peak. The band continues to tour actively across Europe, attracting both long-time fans and a younger audience discovering the roots of heavy music.
The SATAN concerts in February 2026 are expected to become a significant event for the Spanish metal scene and a rare opportunity to see live one of the most respected bands of the British metal movement, whose influence remains strong to this day.
