Steve Hackett announces Madrid and Barcelona concerts for 2027
Steve Hackett, one of the most prominent guitarists from Genesis’ classic line-up, will return to Spain in November 2027. The musician will perform two concerts: on November 2 at The Music Station Príncipe Pío in Madrid and on November 4 at Paral·lel 62 in Barcelona. Tickets will be promoted by Live Nation Spain.
Hackett joined Genesis in 1971 after answering an advertisement published in Melody Maker. During his time with the band, he contributed to several of Genesis’ most acclaimed albums alongside Peter Gabriel, including Nursery Cryme, Foxtrot, Selling England by the Pound and The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway. He left Genesis in 1977 to focus on his solo career.
Over the following decades, Hackett released numerous solo albums and revisited Genesis material through his Genesis Revisited projects. His extensive career has covered progressive rock, acoustic music and classical-inspired work.
For his Spanish shows, Hackett will present a set combining Genesis material with music from his solo career. According to Live Nation, general ticket sales will begin on September 18 at 11:00 through LiveNation.es and Ticketmaster.
