Mötley Crüe to Celebrate Too Fast for Love’s 45th Anniversary with Expanded Edition
Mötley Crüe are preparing an extensive reissue of their debut album Too Fast for Love, which will celebrate its 45th anniversary in 2026. The anniversary collection will be released on October 30 through BMG and will be available in several formats, including an expanded deluxe box set.
The main focus of the release is a return to the band’s early history. The set will include the original version of the album, released in 1981 on Leathür Records, as well as the subsequent Elektra Records version from 1982. These editions differ not only in their artwork, but also in their mixes and track listings.
The collector’s edition will also feature previously unreleased Live at Perkins Palace recordings, demos from the March 1981 studio sessions, replicas of the early seven-inch single and demo cassette, as well as vinyl records, CDs, a 100-page book, a reproduction of the band’s first press kit, a poster, a lyric booklet, and other archival materials.
In addition to the deluxe set, Too Fast for Love (45th Anniversary Collection) will be released on CD and vinyl in a remastered version. The anniversary release will give Mötley Crüe fans an opportunity to revisit the material that launched the band’s career and explore rare recordings from its formative years.
