God Save The Queen: Queen’s legacy returns to Madrid’s biggest stage
God Save The Queen, the Argentine tribute band dedicated to the music of Queen, comes to Madrid with a special show marking 40 years since the British band’s final concert with Freddie Mercury. As part of its 2026 world tour, the group is bringing its interpretation of Queen’s legacy to major venues across Europe, the Americas and Asia, with a renewed production and a musical journey through different stages of the band’s career.
Founded in Argentina in 1998, God Save The Queen has performed more than 1,000 concerts in over 40 countries and reached an audience of more than one million people. The project is led by vocalist Pablo Padín, with Dani Marcos on guitar, Matías Albornoz on drums and Ezequiel Tibaldo on bass. According to Movistar Arena, the new show combines musical fidelity, strong stage presence and a renewed technical and visual production.
The Madrid concert will revisit some of the defining moments of Queen’s career through songs that have become part of rock history. The set includes classics such as Bohemian Rhapsody, We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions, bringing together familiar Queen anthems and the stage-driven character that has defined God Save The Queen’s tribute over more than two decades.
The concert will take place at Madrid’s Movistar Arena. Doors are scheduled to open at 19:00, with the performance due to start at 20:30. Under the venue’s access rules, visitors under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. All times provided by the organisers are provisional and may change due to production requirements.
