Nik West Brings Her Explosive Funk Bass to Spain

American bassist, vocalist and songwriter Nik West will perform three shows in Spain. The artist is known for her explosive stage presence and virtuoso bass playing, inspired by funk figures such as Larry Graham and Marcus Miller; critics consider her one of the most technically gifted performers of the 21st century.

Throughout her career, West has collaborated with Prince, Quincy Jones, John Mayer, Carlos Santana, Larry Graham, Esperanza Spalding and Bootsy Collins, and her cover of AC/DC’s 'Back In Black' made her a favorite of Steven Tyler and Lenny Kravitz. West is the first Black woman to compose music for ESPN and a Fender artist.

In Spain, she’ll perform on three dates: September 25, 2026, in Valencia, at 16 Toneladas, September 27, 2026, in Barcelona, at La Nau, and September 28, 2026, in Madrid, at Sala Villanos, as part of the Villanos del Jazz series.

Tickets are already on sale; check the organizers' websites for current pricing.
